Classified Fleet Details

Highly focused firepower in a single tight beam.
This ship is like a scalpel, it delivers a massive amount of damage,
but requires speed and accuracy for that damage to be put to good use.


The most powerful ship in the hanger. It can deal more damage per second than any other ship.
However, this comes at a price as this ship is slow and heavy. Shoot first, move later!


Fast, small and nimble. Quick reactions and good flying skill will allow you to get out of difficult situations.


A very capable Auto-Aim ship with a good balance of firepower and manoeuvrability.


The smallest most agile ship in the game. If you can keep it under control you'll be able to punish the bad guys with its 3 beams of fire.


A large beast of a ship. Powerful engines make this ship fast, but its large mass makes it hard to change direction. High powered, but slow bullets, make an interesting combination.


An Auto-Aim ship the will hoover up all the pickups on screen. Large but reasonably agile, you should be able to clock up some big scores.


An Auto-Aim ship with a wide field of fire. An all-rounder good in most situations.


Hazards come from all directions, so this ship fires in all directions. If positioned well, you can safely get into the thick of the action and have no fear of incoming missiles.

For the (quite simple & easy to use) ship editor alone this patch \/ DLCs is well worth it!. This DLC is amazing!
It adds a bunch of new ships (and workshop integration, so there are hundreds of extras) and many new game perks.
Each ship has it's own "missions" which are basically mini-challenges to attempt while playing the game. You may have to kill X number of scouts, score 4 million points on one song, or beat 3 songs on Insane difficulty. Each time you beat a challenge your ship ranks up and your profile ranks up too. Win challenges to unlock more powerful ships.

Each ship has it's own perks. You can try different ships based on your own play style.
Some ships are very fast with a focused beam, some are larger and fill the screen with bullets, some auto-aim. There is a lot of content here.

This is a great add on and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys Beat Hazard.. If you already like the game and you want to add some extra replay value to it, you can't go wrong with this. Buying this gives you access to workshop ships and 'shadow missions', which are special missions that are assigned to each ship. Making a workshop ship yourself is quite easy, though these new ships might take some getting used to.
There's some ships that are purposely hard to use (extremely fast, slidey, or god help you if it has auto-aim). It can be fun to try and make a difficult ship work, but it can be very frustrating depending on the mission. Every mission has a punishment if you lose your ship once, ranging from "lose tiny bit of progress" to "lose ALL progress", meaning at some point or another, you'll have to get through difficult tracks without dying. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but some ships are REALLY difficult to not randomly smack into something.
It can get quite challenging, but if you're down for it, or just want to make some dumb ships for yourself, it's worth getting.
(Just be aware that you'll have to beat some missions to gain access to the more powerful ships). About this DLC.

I've played many hours of Beat Hazard and definately enough to think that the ideas this DLC are offering are very interesting. The mechanics are put there and something that I was missing for this game was a kind of variety in terms of ships and missions. And that's basically what this DLC adds: 9 ships with 3 missions available for all of them.

But now you'll ask... why am I thumbing it down?

There are 2 main reasons, and each applies to both new features. First of all, I was kinda disappointed that almost all ships are BAD. I mean, none of them is better than the original one, so what's the point? At least that's how I felt about it. Good think you can customize your own ship 'cause otherwise I'd end up by using the same ship I've been playing with the last 30h of gaming.

Secondly, ALL missions are farmed-based. Now that sucks A LOT. Some missions were like "accumulate 50 million points" 'n' stuff. I agree about the Death Penalty they had since it made it more challenging, but there's no point either if the missions are meant to do the same and not, for instance, some specific thing in an specific song. In the end this game has its own soundtrack, they could've squeezed it more since it's a good one.

I don't know guys. I bought this DLC kinda hyped (from all music-synth games, this is by far my favorite one) but the result wasn't what I expected. However I wouldn't mind buying another DLC if they make it at least interesting, or fun to play, not just "the same thing you were doing before".. The Shadow Operations Unit DLC for Beat Hazard adds several new ships to choose from, each with their own strenghts and weaknesses. It also adds a new Shadow Ops mechanic (hence the name), in which you have to complete missions for each ship in order to earn stars and increase your Shadow Ops rank. The missions go from simple stuff like killing a certain enemy a certain number of times, to stuff like finishing a track on the hardest difficulty with no deaths.

This DLC also includes an ingame editor so you can create your own ships and upload them to the Workshop, by adjusting their stats like firing and movement speed, size, and so on. The only issue I'd have with it is that you have to choose a file from your computer for the ship's appearance (otherwise it'll be a default red ship with the word "TEST" written on it); I think it'd have been better if it had an easy to use ship editor, where you could select parts and attachments.

All in all, I think this is a pretty good DLC. The Shadow Ops missions are a great way to spice up the game. I recommend it.

  Really enjoyed this. Great graphics, especially underwater and the swim mechanic while not flawless, works pretty well. I played it on a Samsung Odyssey+ despite not being supported and it worked fine. You'll just see Vive Wands instead of the WMR controllers. All in All a great experience.
  
  It is super short though, like an hour or something but it has good voice acting and is a cool experience. Overall, I recommend it for the price.. oh man i was only able to play this for literally 45 seconds because i am scared of water and this is so realistic. awesome work by the devs. great title at that price.. Absolutely loving this game - it's genuinely brilliant.
  
  Devs - I think there's a glitch with the settings menu. I'm playing on a Rift with a 1080 and have set all graphics options to their highest but after a few minutes in game they seem to switch down to the lowest setting (even though in the menu it says they're still on high). I noticed as well with the comfort settings a similar thing happened - I would set it to have no comfort settings but then after booting up the blinkers would be on, even though in the menu it said that they're off. Please can you sort this as soon as is possible as otherwise I love this game so much and i want to be able to finish it on high settings. Thanks. I really wanted to love this game, but with the massive problems it has I just can't.
  
  Pros:
  - Okay graphics
  - Good gesture controlled swimming
  - Interesting puzzles
  
  Cons:
  - Swimming controls can sometimes be unresponsive
  - Controls are very uncomfortable, they used touchpad to grab things..
  - Cutscenes are in third-person, completely bringing you out of the action and ruining the flow.
  - Very short runtime (~50 mins)
  - Mediocre story
  - Ends suddenly. I literally had no idea the game had ended and thought I accidentally pressed quit, nope, I finished the story.
  
  
  Overall, the game is good in some aspects but the cons far outweight the pros. Most of these problems are an easy fix, others are not. I would be giving this game a lot of praise if it was free, but this is not good enough quality for a paid game.. Why do developers insist on highlighting every thing you need to interact with, it's nothing but hand holding.
  
  Oh look, there's a handle you need to pull, there's a door panel you need to swipe with key, there's an axe you need, lets make that nice and easy for you and highlight the thing with a nice glowing texture. It's ridiculous. It's not puzzles, it telling you what to do! Enough of that please, stop appealing to the people who can't work things out. Are people so stupid these days that they need to be told what to interact with.
  
  The other thing I didn't like was when it cuts to 3rd person view sometimes, if im the character then leave me in 1st person view, it's breaks immersion.
  
  It's not a puzzler, It's not very long at about 50 minutes.
  
  The graphics were just ok, one review said gorgeous, well they're hardly gorgeous but passable, Textures, particularly in the caves could have been better, although swimming through the cave was quite immersive even if the textures looked yucky.
  
  Despite that, the immersion of being on a sunken ship was ok. It's got more pollish than a lot of vr games.
  
  I wouldn't say it's fantastic like some shills and "yes men" would say, it's just ok and worth a try for something a little different.. Mechanics and graphics are just gorgeous. You've never seen this kind of underwater locomotion in VR for sure. Give it a try, you won't regret.

  Having played this game, I'm left with a lot of feelings.
  
  Graphics\/UI
  It is obvious looking at the style that there is an attempt to emulate the cyberpunk style. I use attempt purposefully, as because of the lack of enviornment or detailing it is hard to use the world style when talking about this game. The 3 towers that you pass are bland, and reppetitive within seconds. The cars aren't detailed, and are boring to look at. To be honest, even the VRC effects are bothersome to me. I'd say remove it, but its cool and could have a use. Maybe when being hit or something, but as is, its severely tiresome.
  As for the menu, it actually looks cool. I'd say put more colors into it. Maybe a glowing gradient around the text or something.
  Also, you should be able to control the menu with your mouse.

  Most infinite runners are repetitive. This is to be expected. What normally helps them is a "twist" in gameplay that makes them interesting. Something that changes the normal dodging mechanics. One More Line has its movements. Temple run has turning and jumping. Flippy Knife has physics. This game does not. Besides dodging cars, there is no variation in gameplay (except one thing that I'll get to). Maybe have a shield burst, or powerups, or increased speed.
  
  I feel the controls are rubbish. They feel sluggish, and unresponsive. Maybe limiting the movement to maybe 9 snapping points would help make it feel as bad as it does. Hitboxes are very fidgety as well, and a lot of the times it would be a coin toss whether or not I'd hit them or they'd hit me. Also pressing is that at least 3 times in my short time playing I was given a situation that I could not win.
  
  Because of the issues above, along with the (slightly) high price point, I wouldn't recomend this game at the moment.. Having played this game, I'm left with a lot of feelings.

About This Game

My name is Matthew, I just finished my economic study. That means a new period in life, searching for a well-paid job. As a child, I've always dreamed of the future. I imagined foreign adventures, exploring the outside world, living an exciting life, and making survival tours in countries far, far away. Unfortunately, these dreams never came about, so I stopped dreaming. I’ve already applied for a job as a notary, I should make more money than anyone else could, that was the plan. But a new local problem changed it a bit. The problem is a new type of virus. Oh no, not a virus that makes you ill, no it changes you into a monster, half alive, half dead, a ZOMBIE! Is there any medicine for this? No, of course not.

The virus came from the laboratory in the city, a professor contracted it from a sample specimen during a simple lab experiment gone nightmarishly wrong. That meant the beginning of the nightmare I’m in now. Why? Because I’m the last normal human in here except the soldiers of the enemy army who started occupying the city before the virus broke out.

However, it made my life a lot more exciting, interesting. It looks like my childhood dreams finally came true, but not in the way I've always imagined. For now, I've got only one thing to do, survive.

Oh, and why I’m still alive? Probably bad luck...


Lone Leader is a zombie apocalypse game, try to survive and break out of the nightmare that’s been created. Kill all the enemies such as soldiers and zombies. Watch out! You only have one chance, so do it right.

  No! Worst game ever award.. run around...Run around some more...shoot randomly at firefly like things...Restart..run around some more...after playing 20 minutes and seeing no zombies whatsoever i was glad to uninstall the game, and gain my mental capability back.. actually quite liked the game good to just play by yourself and do nothing. Damn thing won't run.

  The main menu loads but not the game itself. The "about" page is blank.
  
  I don't expect much from a game I only pay 49 cents for, but at a minimum I expect the game to run.
